Privacy Policy & Medical Disclaimer

Effective 2026-08-05 Version 1.0 Applies to the Solo Training Android app

Privacy Policy

Solo Training does not have a server. There is nothing to log in to, nothing syncs to the cloud, and nothing is transmitted anywhere while you use the app. Everything below follows from that one fact.

Account required
No — the app has no login
Data leaves your device
Never, unless you export it yourself
Analytics or trackers
None — not one third-party SDK
Ads
None

What the app stores, and where

Every workout, set, and setting you enter is written to a local database on your phone. It stays there. Specifically:

Permissions

The app requests one runtime permission:

No camera, microphone, location, contacts, or file-storage access. Storage access in particular is explicitly blocked at the app-package level, not just unused.

Children

Solo Training is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age — the app has no mechanism to collect information from anyone, since nothing it stores ever leaves the device.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the version and effective date at the top of this page will change with it. Given the app has no accounts, there is no mechanism to notify users individually — checking back here is the way to stay current.

Medical Disclaimer

Read before training

Solo Training is a workout tracker, not a medical device and not a substitute for professional medical or fitness advice.

Not medical advice

Nothing in the app — including XP, levels, stats, or rank — is a measure of your health or fitness, and none of it is generated or reviewed by a medical professional. It is a gamified log of what you told the app you did.

Talk to a doctor first

Consult a physician before beginning any exercise program, especially if you have an existing injury, a medical condition, or have been inactive for an extended period. Stop immediately and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or chest discomfort while training.

You assume the risk

Physical exercise carries an inherent risk of injury. By using Solo Training, you accept that risk and agree that the app's developer is not liable for any injury arising from activity you log or perform.

Bodyweight and body metrics

Bodyweight tracking is optional, off by default, and cosmetic only — it is never used to diagnose, treat, or assess any medical condition, and it never affects your XP, level, or rank.
